Science has proven that early socialization and training on young dogs helps to promote good social skills later in life. Over half of dog behavioral issues can be prevented with early training and socialization, along with the proper follow up at home. Puppy training and socialization are of the upmost importance to puppies if they are to become the loving companions we want them to be, once they are adult dogs. To become these well behaved members of the family, they need the right foundation. This is why we recommend puppies start on both skills (socialization and training) as early as 6 weeks. Getting your dog off on the right “paw” is the key to having a well behaved dog to enjoy for its entire life.

At K9 Ambassador, we offer private lessons to get you started on potty training, developing good habits, preventing bad habits from starting, and showing you how to properly socialize your puppy.  Once puppies are 4 months and vaccinated we strongly recommend starting basic obedience classes. We can help at any age, and the earlier the better.

Effective motivation and proper communication strengthens the bond between you and your puppy. We provide clients with a well behaved companion that does not pull on a leash, can go into a public setting with distractions and still maintain excellent self-control, and you now have a dog that is a great companion and a valued member of your family.

Training a puppy require skills, knowledge and time to build proper foundation of good behavior, however the time and training established in the puppy stage will last a lifetime.
